Milan Men's Fashion Week was a complete success this year. It took place from the 14th to the 18th of June and left everyone astonished by the radiant collections presented by the Italian and international designers that were part of the event schedule. This event was produced and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Municipality of Milan, and the Italian Trade Agency (ICE).
During this week, 20 physical shows were held across Milan’s exemplary strade. There were 4 digital shows, 44 presentations, 8 shows by appointment, and 8 programmed events, for a total of 84 appointments. We all agree that it was a great event, exceeding the expectations of fashion enthusiasts around the world.
Of course, the iconic Italian fashion houses made their appearances throughout this week, showcasing their latest menswear collections, making men not only want to attend the fashion shows but to spend every cent on the pieces shown on the runway.
Moschino and Prada were some of the biggest brands that graced the runway last week, and I'm here to give you an exclusive peek at their stunning presentations.
Moschino
Adrian Appiolaza, the new creative director of the Italian fashion house, brought a whole experience to the runway at Via Ventura 14 in Milan last Friday, June 14th. with sequential storytelling inspired by his personal journey from Argentina to Milan, offering a glimpse into his past. This show presented both the first menswear collection of the brand and the pre-collection for the Women’s Resort 2025.
The collection prominently featured suits, denim, and coats, each adorned with unique elements inspired by Italy. Food, nature, and soccer were also highlighted throughout the runway. Additionally, several looks paid tribute to the brand's founder, Franco Moschino, with the distinctive phrase, “It’s better to dress as you wish than as you should.”
I'm confident that when you explore the collection, you'll notice the narrative he conveyed through the clothes, just as I did. It's certainly a unique storytelling method, but fashion, much like art, is a powerful way to express emotions and imagination.

"Second guess your perception" is probably the phrase that best represents the latest menswear collection by the iconic Italian fashion house. The catwalk took place at Via Giovanni Lorenzini 14 in the fashion capital, showcasing a captivating yet deceptive collection due to its visual illusions.
The looks were a combination of soft fabrics and textiles, such as cotton that appeared to be wool. The colorful V-neck knits definitely dominated the runway, being one of the most remarkable elements. They seemed to be two different pieces layered together, but in reality, they were a single fabric. The hip-length pants that touched the ground as the models walked down the runway certainly sparked much discussion. With a dadcore style, their appearance reflected a relaxed yet elegant vibe, combined with loose belts that exuded nothing but style. And we cannot forget about the floral print shirts, cardigans, and coats that created a sensation. This collection truly embodies the dream masculine wardrobe.
Finally, the collection transported the audience to diverse destinations, from serene beaches to vibrant seascapes, through captivating prints on sunglasses used as accessories. This added a unique dimension, making the eclectic collection truly stand out.
According to Raf Simons, the co-creative director of Prada, in the collection "There are elements that are female, masculine, coming from mom, dad, grandad, grandmother. Maybe things from your memories..." to which Miuccia Prada added, "...and fantasy!" something that clearly could not be missing here.
Don't miss out on the runway and the looks—immerse yourself in its illusory and classy narrative!
